All Spiritual Wisdom

Paul continually prayed special blessings for some and that included you and me? Now – how can we experience this greatest of blessings daily?

“and he also informed us of your love in the Spirit. For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding, so that you will walk in a manner worthy of the Lord, to please Him in all respects, bearing fruit in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God; strengthened with all power, according to His glorious might, for the attaining of all steadfastness and patience; joyously giving thanks to the Father, who has qualified us to share in the inheritance of the saints in Light.” Colossians 1:8-12

Gaining “All Spiritual Wisdom” is beyond imagination.

Have you even considered God’s will lately? And is attaining All Spiritual Wisdom and understanding as Paul prayed possible? The fact is that Jesus has already given us ALL we need for this to become reality – today. Many just don’t take the promises of Jesus literally. Unfortunately, some are more concerned with pleasing people, and gaining the knowledge of the world, than with knowing God’s will. And the fact is that gaining the knowledge and wisdom of men has been a lifelong priority for most responsible people.

But Jesus has given us this absolute promise.

“And I will pray to the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may abide with you forever— the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it neither sees Him nor knows Him; but you know Him, for He dwells with you and will be in you. John 14:16-17

And God has clearly explained His will for all to know, and has given us The Holy Spirit to guide us moment by moment every day. Yes – we can follow the guidance of the Holy Spirit and God’s Word, and receive All Spiritual Wisdom; or we can follow our old ways, feelings, pride, lust and human logic. Some even deceptively choose the ways of men and then call it christianity. But that way is a lie that is easily exposed by anyone guided by the Holy Spirit.

And God continually explains what we need to do.

“It is better to take refuge in the Lord, than to trust in man. Psalm 118:8

“And I, brethren, could not speak to you as to spiritual men, but as to men of flesh, as to infants in Christ. I gave you milk to drink, not solid food; for you were not yet able to receive it. Indeed, even now you are not yet able, for you are still fleshly” — “Let no man deceive himself. If any man among you thinks that he is wise in this age, he must become foolish, so that he may become wise. For the wisdom of this world is foolishness before God. For it is written, “He is the one who catches the wise in their craftiness”; and again, “The Lord knows the reasonings of the wise, that they are useless.” So then let no one boast in men.” 1 Corinthians 3:1-3; 18-21

That’s pretty clear – don’t you think?

So – what is God’s Will?

“This is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior, who desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth.” 1 Timothy 2:3-4

“See that no one repays another with evil for evil, but always seek after that which is good for one another and for all people. Rejoice always; pray without ceasing; in everything give thanks; for this is God’s will for you in Christ Jesus. Do not quench the Spirit”

1 Thessalonians 5:15-18

“Now the God of peace, who brought up from the dead the great Shepherd of the sheep through the blood of the eternal covenant, even Jesus our Lord, equip you in every good thing to do His will, working in us that which is pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ, to whom be the glory forever and ever. Amen.” Hebrews 13:20-21

There are ten thousand more answers – but the big question is this:

What about you my friend? Are you playing games with God? Are you still on the old path of following the teachings of men and trying to please others; or have you chosen to put God first in everything, to Know God’s Will, to gain All Spiritual Wisdom …

and to Follow Jesus – every moment of every day – forever.

All Means All and that’s all All means.

Grace and Peace to you my friends,
