~ Millions of Miracles ~

Is there any limit to the number of miracles
that happen in the universe every day?
Most evolutionists would argue that there is no purpose or meaning to our life.
And that miracles and biblical absolutes do not exist.
Our lives just exist and then end. Christianity was created by men in order to control people. There are no such things as miracles or biblical absolutes. Well they are right about one thing most religions were created by men to control men and even many religions calling themselves Christian are created by men to control people. But that does not prove that a Creator does not exist.
I would contend that there are millions of miracles upon miracles that evolution can never and will never explain.Regarding these miracles, the only answer that makes sense is a Creator.
On all of these millions of miracles evolution is a dead end argument. Consider the human brain for example, or the human eyes … or the eyes, or the wings of a dragonfly. There are millions upon millions of unanswered miracles. The truth is that evolution cannot demonstrate a single example of a species that has evolved or that is currently in the process of evolving. Isn’t that strange for something that is called the Evolution of the Species? But the miracles and invisible things of God are everywhere. God’s word makes this clear.
For since the creation of the world His invisible attributes, His eternal power and divine nature, have been clearly seen, being understood through what has been made, so that they are without excuse. Romans 1:20
I have a number of close friends who are atheists and we go all the way back to high school. The interesting thing is that we agree on almost everything except religion. By outward appearance even our values are pretty much the same. From the world’s perspective, they are the good guys. In fact, there was a time when I agreed with them on religion, and would have argued their case. From their viewpoint, I have now fallen and hit my head.
We respect each other’s rights to our views, but on Christianity versus evolution we just respectfully agree to disagree. But this does not keep me from witnessing to them when I can. Why don’t I just remain silent? It would be easier, but God has me here primarily for one purpose … to speak to them. I love these friends and want for them to have the hope and freedom that I have found.
The question is: “What does God want me to say to them to help them see the truth?
Here is a recent conversation with one of my close friends since high school who for many years has totally rejected all things religious … except for me.
We’ll call him Joe.
Bob: “Have you ever wondered why it is that we agree on pretty much everything except Christianity?
Joe: “You got that right.”
Bob: “So what is it that bothers you most about religion?”
Joe: “I don’t like people preaching to me including you …
especially when most of them are total hypocrites and fools.”
Bob: Do you think I am a hypocrite and a fool?
Joe: “Nope, I just think you have lost it on this one, and since you know where I stand, why would you want to get into an argument with me about it?
Bob: “I don’t want to get into an argument about it,
but would you mind if I explained what I believe?
Joe: I already know what you believe, but go ahead and I’ll tell you what I believe.
Bob: You are one of my best friends in the world and if I am right, I do not want you to suffer the results of the wrong decision on the most important question you will ever answer.”
Joe: And what would that be?
Bob: If you were to die tomorrow are you certain where you will go from here?
Joe: “I believe in evolution and when we die we are dirt. All of the scientists in the world agree with me. What makes you so sure I am making the wrong decision?”
Bob: “Do you really think what you just said is true … that all of the scientists agree with you, and that when you die you are dirt, and that you will have lived your entire life for no purpose or meaning? That is a myth promoted by atheist scientists. I can show you the statements of hundreds of renowned scientists worldwide including Nobel Prize winners who have rejected Darwinian evolution. Why don’t you just read ‘Darwin’s Leap of Faith’ and ‘Darwin’s Black Box’ and then tell me what you think about evolution?”
Bob: “The fact is that since science cannot point to a single example of one species evolving to another species, or to anything else that is currently in the process of evolving from one species to another.
Also as a result of the discoveries of molecular biologists …
a large percentage of scientists no longer believe in macro-evolution.”
Joe: “What is macro-evolution?”
Bob: “The evolution of a species to a different species such as a fish to a lizard to an ape to a man. Basically the way that evolution science explains the origin of our species.” Each of those transitions would be Darwinian or macro-evolution.
Bob: “Do you really believe that evolution is how life began …
or do you believe that there is a Creator God?”
Joe : “Well basically I believe in evolution.”
Bob: “So, what is your basis for this belief? Aren’t you placing your faith in the hands of biased mere men? How is it easier to have faith in men rather than a Creator?”
Joe: “I believe in what science has taught me.”
Bob: “Science rejects the miracles in the Bible and biblical absolutes. But then science accepts the laws of science as absolutes. Do you believe there are moral absolutes that are always true? And in order for evolution to be true, don’t we need to believe in millions upon millions of random miracles?
Do you agree that there are millions of miracles?
Joe: “Some things we will never be able to explain. So yes, I suppose there are millions of miracles. Why does it matter if there are laws and miracles?”
Bob: “Well this is my point exactly. If there are millions of miracles, scientific evolutionists deny miracles exist, or that anything else they cannot prove is true. They also deny that there are moral absolutes that are absolutely true whether we agree with them or not. Do you believe it is wrong to throw an unwanted newborn baby in a dumpster? Is child molestation ever acceptable?
Joe: No, of course not.
Bob: So you agree there are millions of miracles around us, and that there are some things that we just know are absolutely morally true.
Bob: This is why creation makes so much sense to me. There are literally millions upon millions of miracles in front of us every day. Evolution leads to chaos, but the world is actually in perfect order. And there are so many miracles that science will never be able explain.”
Bob: “So do you think these millions of miracles in the world just happened by accident, or do you believe there is a God that created everything?”
Joe: The bible is filled with fairy tales like Noah, and the flood and Jonah and the fish. It just doesn’t make any sense to me.
Bob: Do any of the millions of miracles we cannot explain make sense to us? No … otherwise they would cease to be miracles. We could name the miracles we don’t understand one after another for a year and we would still have unending miracles and very few answers.
Bob: I know we both agree that man-made global warming was an idea created by men. But the bigger lie is that these same scientists actually believe that they will somehow be able to change or control the climate. This is a fantasy created by atheists.
Joe: So what does all of this have to do with Christianity?
Bob: God is a God of miracles. This is why atheists reject miracles and absolutes. Accept evolution and you also reject the Creator of the miracles and absolutes. The entire life of Jesus is a series of miracles. Additionally He claimed to be there in the beginning and to be the same God who sent Him in the flesh to save us from ourselves. If I reject Creation, then the foundation of my belief system is destroyed.
Joe: Well what about all of the other religions that do not believe in Jesus? I suppose you think that all of those people just go to hell?
Bob: It doesn’t matter what I think; but it does matter what I know. If I believe that Jesus is the God of miracles and His word is the eternal truth … then what Jesus says is what I can believe, and know to be true. “Jesus answered and said to him,”Truly, truly, I say to you, unless one is born again he cannot see the kingdom of God.” … “For God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish, but have eternal life. “For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. “He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has been judged already, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.” John 3:3,16-18
Bob: The message of the Gospel is clear. None of us are worthy on the basis of the life that we have lived. But if we believe Jesus is God, we can be certain of eternal life. If we follow some religion that does not believe Jesus is God, then we might be great people by the world’s standards, but we do not have eternal life because all are judged guilty who do not have the sacrifice of Jesus’ blood on the cross for cleansing and forgiveness of their sins. If the verse above is not true and we do not have eternal life, then that would mean that Jesus lies and is not the God He claims to be.
Bob: I am certain I will go to Heaven when I die, not because I deserve to go … but rather because I believe, prayed for forgiveness and declare Jesus is My Lord and my Savior, the Creator of all things, the God of millions of miracles – every day.
What do you Believe?
Grace and Peace to you my friends,
Bob West – Geezerdust©2020
